The Leidenfrost Effect is a pretty cool science article I linked two years ago, on a previous blog. It's still a good read, I looked it up again when I saw a semi related post on MeFi.
If only the science we studied in class was as engaging as this, eh.

Holy crap that guy is insane putting liquid nitrogen in his mouth... and yes a very interesting read Mark.
the picture is the most interesting... the one with him splashing his hand all the way to the bottom of a metal container containing molten lead at 400 degrees, and watching the lead spray everywhere.
